  • ** We are now part of a single benefice with St Mary's Horton Kirby and St John's Sutton-at-Hone called the Darent Valley Benefice. See our services and events page for the usual service pattern but note the service times and venues often change so in case of doubt phone the Vicar **
     

    • The service in the benefice for Sunday 29th March, 2015 (Palm Sunday) is as follows:

    9.00am assemble on the Green outside Darenth Vicarage for the Liturgy of Palms and  procession to St Margarets

    9.30am St Margaret's Darenth, Benefice Holy Communion for Palm Sunday

    • The services for Holy Week and Easter are as follows:

      Monday 30th March (Monday in Holy Week) - 7.30 pm Compline at St Johns, Sutton at Hone

      Tuesday 31st March (Tuesday in Holy Week) - 7.30 pm Compline at St Johns, Sutton at Hone
       
      Wednesday 1st April (Wednesday in Holy Week) - 7.30 pm Compline at St Johns, Sutton at Hone
       
      Thursday 2nd April (Maundy Thursday) 7.30pm Eucharist of Maundy Thursday at St Johns, Sutton at Hone
       
      Friday 3rd April (Good Friday) Walk of Witness from St Mary's Horton Kirby to St John’s, Sutton at Hone assemble at St Mary's at 11am to reach St John's in time for the 2pm Eucharist)

      Good Friday services at St John's Sutton at hone:

      12noon - Stations of the Cross

      1pm - Silent Devotion (Sacrament of reconciliation available)

      2pm - Eucharist of Good Friday                                   

    • Saturday 4th April (Saturday in Holy Week):

      Messy Church at 2pm at Sutton Court

      8.00pm Easter Vigil service at St Margatret's Darenth                                     

    • Sunday 5th April (Easter Day)

      6.30am Dawn Service with the first Eucharist of Easter at St John's Sutton at Hone

    • 9.30am  Joint  family Eucharist at St Mary's Horton Kirby with Easter Egg Hunt​
